Do Not Worry About Your Accent

When it comes to introducing English as a second language to kids at home many people worry about their accent. I believe that as long as other people understand you – your English is just fine.

There are some parts of English speaking world that you would not understand much they are saying but no one worries about that. So why should we (with for example Eastern European accent like me)?

Take for example the Scottish accent. Some might call it hard to understand. See for yourself in this funny video. ????

Now take a tour through all accents of the British Isles with Anglophenia – from standard BBC English to London,  Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents.

So, definitely do not worry about your accent and be a guide to English with kids yourself. It can be a great way to practice your English too.
